Learn to Negotiate Like a Pro

One of the most important aspects of selling—of life—is learning how to negotiate.  Negotiating is far more than simply getting what you want.  Negotiating requires creating a situation where all parties perceive benefit and value from the transaction.  And especially in sales, if you want continued business from clients and customers, you better understand how to negotiate without alienating the other party.

And what’s more critical at a time when you’re contemplating acquiring another position than understanding the negotiation process you’re about to enter?

On October 25th at 1PM Central, I will be interviewing Ed Brodow, one of the country’s leading negotiation trainers and strategists, as part of the continuation of the Sales Careers Online sales training offerings.  You can register for this free hour here.

Ed is the author of Negotiation Boot Camp: How to Resolve Conflict, Satisfy Customers, and Make Better Deals, Beating the Success Trap: Negotiating for the Life You Really Want and the Rewards You Deserve, and Negotiate With Confidence.  He is also the creator of the PBS special, Negotiate With Confidence.  His client list includes many of the largest companies and business and industry associations in the world.

Whether you are a job seeker, recruiter, or employer, I encourage you take this opportunity to learn from one of the true masters of negotiation.  Not only will you have the opportunity to hear my interview with Ed, but you’ll have an opportunity at the end of the hour to ask him your questions.

To attend, you must pre-register.  Register here.

Ed is just one of the incredible sales trainers Sales Careers Online has put together to help you in your quest to become a better salesperson.  Along with other internationally known trainers such as Frank Rumbauskas, Dave Lakhani, Dave Anderson, Jill Konrath, Wendy Weiss, Randy Pennington, Sharon Drew Morgen, and myself, Sales Careers Online has gathered together one of the best teams of trainers you can find anywhere.
